The seclusion will help you unwind from the daily stresses or relax after a day exploring the mountains, canyons and gardens
Gowan Ross Cottage is situated on the rural property known as Gowan Ross, which is halfway between Mt Wilson and Mt Irvine. It is one of Mt Wilson's few remaining working properties and is home to the only permanent residents with young children in Mt Wilson. It has a number of fruiting chestnut and walnut trees as well as raspberry and blueberry bushes. Is boasts 40acres of combined rainforest, garden and pasture and is home to a small number of Devon cattle. There are a number of hiking tracks close by with spectacular views over the Wollangambe river.

The Old School, Mt Wilson

Situated on several hectares of bushland amid some of Australia's loveliest gardens, the former Mt Wilson school house and teacher’s residence, have recently been refurbished with the help of a grant from NSW Environment & Heritage. The site is operated by a local charity staffed by volunteers.
The buildings are now available for a range of uses.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM
This amazing program hosts artists to spend a month working on their projects in tranquil surroundings and who offer to the public a variety of art exhibitions, concerts, and workshops during their stay at the Old School.

The Teacher’s Cottage has now been re-configured as a two bedroom residence. It is available for use in conjunction with the Artists in Residence Programme.
